ABOUT ME
ENT physician in Lisbon combining conventional otolaryngology with integrative and metabolic medicine.
Early in my career, I recognised that addressing symptoms alone wasn't enough. Understanding the body as an interconnected system — where inflammation, hormones, sleep and nutrition all play a role — changed how I approach patient care.
Growing up in a family of doctors gave me a solid foundation in conventional medicine. Training across Lisbon, Prague, Utrecht and Zagreb broadened my perspective and led me to integrate functional assessment into everyday clinical practice.
Today, my consultations go beyond the standard ENT evaluation. I consider metabolic markers, hormonal balance, chronic inflammation and lifestyle factors — building a more complete picture before deciding on treatment.
I'm especially drawn to complex, recurring conditions — the cases that don't respond to standard protocols and often signal something deeper. Helping patients understand their own health and take an active role in recovery is central to what I do.
